The 2022 Jeep Compass will be available in four trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Latitude Lux, and Trailhawk.
The entry-level Sport trim comes standard with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available as an option. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, a 5.0-inch touch screen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, and a six-speaker sound system.
The Latitude trim adds the majority of the Sport’s optional features as standard, including the automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, fog lights, roof rails, keyless entry and ignition, remote start, a 7.0-inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, satellite radio, HD Radio, and an upgraded sound system with eight speakers. The Latitude is also eligible for several options packages that add features like a sunroof, navigation, driver assists like blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, and more.
The Limited trim is the luxury-oriented Jeep Compass model. It comes standard with leather upholstery, heated front seats, an 8.4-inch touch screen infotainment system with navigation, and a nine-speaker Alpine sound system. Standard driver assists include blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front, and rear park assist, and automatic high beams. Options include a sunroof, LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality.
The Trailhawk is the Jeep Compass’ off-road focused model. It comes standard with all-wheel drive, a more capable suspension, underbody skid plates, tow hooks, 17-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, fog lights, LED daytime running lights, roof rails, and keyless entry and ignition.
