When it comes to off-road performance, there are only a few top-ranking vehicles on the market that can compete. Since the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is an SUV with more truck-like features, it makes sense to compare it to the Nissan Frontier Pro-4X.
First, the Wrangle Rubicon comes with underbody skid plates that protect the transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank. three red tow hooks have been installed (two on the face and one on the rear), and the dual stabilizer bars provide a more comfortable experience over rough terrain. Tru-Lok Dana wide axles (M210 and M220 models) are also included along with the Rock-Trac two-speed with 4:1 low range. Riding on 17-inch aluminum wheels, it uses off-road tires for superior grip. Finally, sill rails guard against rock damage.
On the other hand, the Frontier Pro-4X features skid plates, all-terrain tires, and Bilstein shock absorbers. However, it is missing all of the other elements that make the Wrangler stand out. Plus, the wheels are smaller at 16-inches. This can hurt the performance out in nature.
