There is a new blind spot monitoring system on the latest model of the 2022 RAM 1500 Sport. The system is designed to alert drivers when a vehicle is in a blind spot that they would not otherwise be able to see. The system also alerts you if you attempt to change lanes without first checking your mirrors and side windows for other vehicles in your blind spots.
The 2022 RAM 1500 Sport also features adaptive cruise control, allowing drivers to set the speed of their vehicle to automatically slow down or speed up as needed. This helps drivers maintain a safe distance from other cars on the road while still saving fuel by avoiding unnecessary acceleration and braking.
Finally, Ford has also announced that it will be including pedestrian emergency braking on all new models starting with the 2022 RAM 1500 Sport. This system uses cameras mounted at various locations around the vehicle to detect pedestrians and other objects near or in front of a vehicle up ahead and applies braking if necessary to avoid hitting these objects when possible.
