One of the most exciting elements of this trim is the Active-Level Four-Corner Air Suspension. This Best-In-Class mechanism allows you to control the ride height of the vehicle according to your driving needs. There are five modes to choose from, and they are as follows.
Normal is the regular position of the truck. It provides 8.7-inches (221 mm) of ground clearance, and this is the number used to determine the heights of all the other settings. Please note that the ride height is measured from the base of the door sill to the ground below.
Next is Aero. It drops the pickup to 8.2-inches (208 mm) and is ideal for improving the fuel efficiency at highway speeds.
Then, there are two Off-Road modes. One raises the pickup to 9.7-inches (246 mm), and the second lifts it to 10.7-inches (246 mm). These are designed to help you clear obstacles without scraping the underside.
Finally, Entry/Exit lowers the Ram to 6.7-inches (170 mm) to make it easier for guests to get inside.
